Faith Poetry Songs Christmas Album is a special collection of ten Christmas songs by Connie Campbell Bratcher. Blending her original, scripture-based lyrics with unique and original music, this album offers songs of faith and worship that celebrate Christmas and uplift, encourage, and draw both believers and non-believers to God.
The first 9 tracks come from the custom Christmas cards that Connie and the late artist D.D. Watson sent to hundreds of friends and loved ones from 2002 through 2011. Each card featured an original painting from D.D. Watson and an original Christmas poem by Connie. The only song not from one of those Christmas cards is the last track, Mary’s Revelation.
Each song celebrates a unique aspect of Christmas. The album begins with Born Unto Us, a joyful proclamation of Christ’s arrival, followed by O Holy Night!, capturing the reverence and wonder of His birth. The Son of God Came continues the story with a clear declaration of His divine mission, while O Come, Let Us Adore Him calls every listener to worship at the feet of the newborn King. Christmas Blessings reflects the unending blessings that come from receiving the Greatest Gift of All, and Ring Those Bells adds a note of celebration to His arrival. The journey then moves into An Old Fashioned Christmas, stirring nostalgic joy, before lifting hearts heavenward with Worship the King! and In the Mountain of His Holiness, honoring the majesty and holiness of the One born in Bethlehem.
The album concludes with Mary’s Revelation—a powerful response to the popular song Mary, Did You Know?, offering a moving reflection on the faith, awareness, and wonder of the mother of Jesus.
